Ian: (Climb ½ way up stairs. In a voice not yelling, but loud.) Kids (awkwardly), our guest has arrived,
Everyone: (walk down stairs in single file line in age order – oldest first and youngest last. Skyler walks down, Ian gets flash of surprise than glares at Skyler. Stand in line at bottom of stairs.)
*(Awkward!)* – Camera Spans over us -
Ian: Okay (Points to S) this is Skyler and she is good with mechanics (point to Z) this is Zooey, she’s gifted in Math. (Point to W) This is Whittney; she was always good at science. (Point to I) This is Isabelle, she’s good at history – (pause) – uh… yes, uh, this is Amelia (Point to A + E) And Evangeline, they have a way with words. (Turns to man standing behind him) This is Randolph Howard – a business partner (turns to E) a very important business partner.
*Awkward Silence*
Evangeline: Can I call you Randy?
Ian: (Turns around to hide his face) Well! The dining room’s just down this hallway!
Everyone: (girls and RH file after him, Whittney turns to RH)
Whittney: Is Randolph your middle name?
RH: No… (She turns/walks away) Dummes Madschen.
Evangeline: (Over hears, interprets and glares at him)
